How to Reserve Your 2019 Babydoll Lambs
There are two ways to reserve your Babydoll lambs as shown below.
The Babydoll List
One way is to email us at: Info@SixWagsOverTexas.com and ask to be placed on "The 2019 List". You name and request will go into the "pool" of buyers. If there are any lambs left after those for whom deposits have been placed, we'll contact you to let you know what is available and ask you to place a 50% deposit within 10 days. If the deposit is not received within that time (yes, we do take Paypal and credit cards), your name will go back down to the bottom of the list.
Secure Your Babydolls with a Deposit
The second way of reserving your lambs is to contact us by phone or email and place a deposit of a minimum of $150 per lamb. This method ensures you have the best chance of getting the color and sex you desire. Lambs will be offered to the list of those with paid deposits in the order in which they are received. The closer you are to the top of the list, the better your choices will be.
If we can fulfill your request, 50% of the balance will be due within 10 days of your choosing your lamb(s). If payment is not received, or you decide not to purchase lambs, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit.
Example: You want to purchase two ewes. Total cost = $1200. Deposit is $200 leaving a balance of $1000. When lambs are born, you pick your two ewes and within 10 days send us $500 which is one half the balance due. Final $500 is due at pickup or before.
Deposit Refund Policy
If we are unable to provide any portion of your request, your deposit will be refunded in full. what this means is if you place a deposit from two ewes and a ram, and we can only provide the 2 ewes, the deposit on the ram will be applied to your balance. Deposits are only refunded if we can't fulfill your entire order.
Shipping Your Lambs
We will air ship lambs, but require full payment upfront - both for the cost of the lambs and the fees associated with shipping including: hard sided airline crate for each (usually large to xlarge size), actual freight costs and $50 to cover transport to the airport plus the cost of health certificates required to fly. Generally, all cost as of 2018 are about $400 each to air ship lambs.
Shipping Livestock Safely
There is alot of confusion about shipping. We have successfully air shipped lambs great distances. You may be aware of ground shipping, but we don't suggest that as it can involve your sheep being "on the move" for days versus hours. We air ship with the safest airlines for pets and your lambs are shipped as just that "Pets" or "Show Sheep".
They are in climate controlled areas throughout the entire process and are frequently checked by airline staff whose sole mission is to ensure the safety and health of your sheep.
Rules regarding ground temperature when flying apply to sheep as well as other pets. This means they cannot usually be shipped when ground tenperatures are above 80F at either the departure or arrival city.
